Lynn Sweater English

The Lynn Sweater is a top-down drop shoulder stockinette sweater. First, stitches are cast on for the back and worked back and forth with increases for the two shoulders. The two fronts are knit back and forth with increases for the neckline. The pieces are then joined together to continue knitting in the round. The body ribbing is knit in a combination of 2x2 and 1x1 ribbing with options for a regular rib and a split rib. The sleeve stitches are knit in the round on shorter circular needles or double pointed needles.

The recommended ease for the Lynn Sweater is 20-25 / 8-10 inches of positive ease for the smaller sizes and gradually less ease for the larger sizes.
